Volunteering @ the zoo.
World Enrichment day.
Me, Jingyun, Singpei & Shanwei are at the giraffe station.
Basically we need to explain to visitors that, that day is world enrichment day!
At the giraffe station.
We will have a big bottle, with some holes.
Inside will be filled with paper strands, leaves and also some artificial grapes & peanuts.
The children(visitors) will have to use 1 of their hand covered with a sock to find the artificial grapes or peanuts.
The more artificial grapes or peanuts they collect, the better.
With participation, we will give them a bookmark.
If they break record, we will have their name wrote on the board.
More than 20 artificial grapes or peanuts, we will give them a toy monkey.
In the zoo, once per month, there is such a day.
Where animals will have to work hard to get food.
Hehe!
It is to stimulate the minds of the animals.
Enhance the quality of life of the animals.
It is also to encourage them not to take things for granted.
EG: getting food easily.
Lols.
Interesting right.
Like once per month.
The zoo will create activties for the different animals.
So that the animals will not get bored too.
Haha.
Although that day was a tiring day.
But we had fun though ^^
